In a survey conducted by GAT, it was evaluated to have 65 out of 78 image analysis technologies, ranking 6th in the world

IVS Inc.(CEO Bae Young-hoon) announced that its AI-based intelligent video and audio analysis technology has been recognized as a world-class technology by Gartner, an IT research institute. On December 18, 2020, Gartner listed Korea's IVS as the 6th largest technology company in the world through the 'Emerging Technologies Tool: Video Analytics Functionality Matrix' report, which included Israeli Agent VI, US BriefCam, Canada's avigillion, and Japan's. He added that the figure is higher than that of its world-class competitors such as Fujitsu.

For this report, Gartner surveyed all 52 video and video analytics vendors worldwide and reviewed all 78 video analytics technologies. IVS was evaluated as a company with 65 out of 78 image analysis technologies, and ranked 6th in the same way as China's Baidu and US IBM, which have the same 65 technologies, and is the only Korean company to be in the top 10.

Founded in 2010, IVS has developed an AI-based intelligent video surveillance system and an abnormal sound source detection system, and possesses video analysis and sound source analysis source technologies at the same time. This achievement is explained by the fact that it has been dedicated to investing in R&D to become a company specializing in AI security solutions.

Bae Young-hoon, CEO of IVS, said, “This Gartner report was an opportunity not only to acknowledge our technological prowess, but also to show us the potential of becoming a world-class image analysis company. In the future, based on the success of the ongoing Australian nursing hospital project, NTT Docomo and intelligent CCTV VSaaS service, we will step up to become the world's No.

On the other hand, IVS is not only performing intelligent video and sound analysis, but also advancing into edge-type AI box, cloud-based intelligent control system (VSaaS), big data-based transportation platform, and ITS (intelligent transportation system), etc.
